De droom van Esther...

Gefascineerd kijkt Esther naar de felle lichtjes. Ze weet dat deze lichtjes haar broertjes en zusjes zijn van een andere wereld. Een wereld die mooi en licht is, een wereld waar liefde heerst en voor haat of woede geen ruimte is.
Deze lichtjes komen naar de aarde om ook hier alles te transformeren in een verwarmende liefde.
Eén van de lichtjes dat op weg is, zal haar zusje worden in dit leven.
Samen met mama en papa, nichtjes en neefjes, en de hele familie, zal Esther en haar zusje voorbereid worden om deze wereld een stukje mooier achter te laten, dit met respect voor de natuur en alles wat leeft.

Wij hopen dat iedereen op deze planeet onvoorwaardelijke liefde mag ervaren en wensen iedereen een vredevol 2014 toe!

Esther's dream...

Esther is fascinated by the bright lights coming to earth. She realizes that these lights represent her brothers and sisters from another world. In this beautiful world love rules, anger or hate do not exist.
Their mission on this earth is to transform negativity into unconditional love.
One of these lights will become Esther's little sister in this life.
Mummy and daddy, little cousins and nieces, and their whole family will help them to create a better world for future generations. Respect for nature and all living things will be their motivation.

It is our heart's desire that everyone should be able to experience unconditional love and peace in their heart in 2014!

Vriendschap / Friendship

Esther en haar grote vriend Bram

Mijn man en ik zijn gezegend met twee uitzonderlijke pluizen, Plato en Bram. Zij zijn allebei superlief maar Bram, onze burmilla, is wel de meest onverstoorbare kater die ik ooit heb ervaren.
Hij laat zich zowat alles welgevallen en heeft altijd zin in een knuffelpartij.
Esther, ons jongste kleinkindje, is verzot op hem en hij op haar.
Dit heeft mij geïnspireerd tot dit ludiek digitaal werkje waarin Esther erg opkijkt naar haar 'grote' vriend.

My husband and I are very lucky to share our home with two exceptional felines, Plato and Bram.
Both of them our very sweet but our burmilla, Bram, is unshakable calm. I have never experienced such a buddha cat. He is always ready for a cuddle.
Esther, our youngest grandchild, is crazy about him and the other way around.
This friendship inspired me to create this happy digital artwork in which Esther admires her 'big' friend.

 

Bizarre situaties... Strange situations....

Enkele weken geleden hoorde ik in het nieuws dat de nerts (de pels wordt voor luxe bontjassen gebruikt) anno 2024 in Nederland niet meer mag gekweekt worden.  Het is niet alleen spijtig dat het nog zo lang duurt maar ik begrijp helemaal niet waarom zulke wet er enkel in Nederland komt. Dit is een verschuiving van het probleem.
Maar ja, zolang er vraag is, zal er wel aanbod zijn. Hopelijk komt hier een bewustzijnsverandering...

A few weeks ago I heard the news that the mink (the fur is used for luxury fur coats)  may no longer be cultivated in the Netherlands in 2024. It is a pity it still has to take that long. Furthermore, why only in the Netherlands? This is shifting the problem.
Hopefully a higher awareness can change people's views; where there is no demand, there is no more need for supply...

Een andere bizarre situatie is een visvangst reglement. Uiteraard moet de vis beschermd worden en mag er niet te veel gevangen worden, maar dode vissen teruggooien in zee omdat die niet op het lijstje staan?? Is dat niet je reinste verspilling?

Some fishing regulations lead to strange situations. The fish populations should be monitored and protected but throwing back dead fish because they are not on a list?? I think this is pure waste and not respectful.

Waarschijnlijk heeft iedereen de uitdrukking 'zinloos geweld' al gehoord? Is er dan zinvol geweld??

Het is spijtig dat men ook veel te weinig het positieve benadrukt. Men is tegen drugs, tegen kanker, tegen oorlog enz... Hierdoor geeft men juist kracht aan al die dingen die men niet wil, dit is een kosmische wet. Laat ons beter zeggen: voor gezondheid, voor liefde, voor vrede...

We have all heard of senseless violence, not? Is there any violence that makes sense??

Moreover, we often emphasize not quite the positive. People are against drugs, against cancer, against war and so on. In this way we empower the things we do not want, this is a cosmic law.

For health, for love, for peace, are far more efficient expressions.
