De roze lotusbloem, symbool voor onze ziel, groeit vanuit zijn wortels in de modder via een lange steel doorheen het water naar het licht. Deze prachtige bloem is een metafoor voor de transformatie van het onbewuste naar bewustzijn.
De zieltjes die in deze periode op onze aarde komen, zijn alleszins kranige rakkers, want soms lijkt het wel of onze wereld krankzinnig is geworden.
Maar deze nieuwetijdskindjes hebben de gave om door de illusie van onze materiële wereld te kijken. Zij weten dat alles verbonden is en dat wij in wezen één zijn. Zij dragen de natuur, de mens en de dieren een warm hart toe.
Laat ons deze zieltjes bijstaan door zelf bewust en aanwezig te zijn, te aanvaarden wat niet veranderd kan worden en positieve actie te nemen waar nodig.
De inspiratie voor dit werkje kreeg ik door ons vijfde kleinkindje, een juweeltje dat nu nog lekker in mama’s buik zit.

The jewel in the lotus (Om mani padme hum)
The mantra ‘Om mani padme hum’ is the most well known mantra of Tibetan Buddhism. It stands for love, compassion and wisdom.
In Buddhism, the lotus is a symbolic representation of the evolution of the soul; the lotus springs from the muddy depths to rise through murky water and into the sunlight to become a beautiful flower. It represents the soul's journey from materialism through experience and into enlightenment.
There are many brave souls who have entered this world and they are still coming, they are called the children of the new age. These little jewels see through the illusion of our 3D (crazy) world and know that everything is connected. They show deep respect for nature, mankind and wild life; their purpose is to heal this earth.
Our mission is to support and activate them to their life’s higher purpose.
We can help them by practice self awareness, accept what cannot be changed and where necessary, take action.
This painting was inspired by the little jewel in my daugther’s belly. It will be our fifth grandchild.
